Electrician/Mechanic
About the role
The position involves troubleshooting programmable controllers and AC and DC drives, making necessary repairs, and ensuring machinery operates efficiently. It also requires following up on work orders and planning and scheduling maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot programmable controllers and A/C and D/C drives.
- Make necessary repairs to drives and their control systems.
- Maintain machinery to run at available capacity and speed.
- Follow-up all work orders to ensure repairs and work are performed properly and entered into the maintenance software program.
- Plan and schedule maintenance work.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years maintenance experience required.
- Experience in a corrugated manufacturing facility is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrate proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, motor controls & drives, mechanical power transmissions, welding & metal fabrication, pneumatic & hydraulic troubleshooting & repair, lift truck safety & repair, and PC literacy.
Qualifications
Must successfully complete a maintenance test, drug screening, and background / employment verification.
Skills
