Electrician Journeyperson

Role Overview

The Industrial Electrician Journeyperson is responsible for layout, installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of complex electrical equipment and circuits, troubleshooting control systems, and ensuring safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow OSHA safety procedures and company policies
• Maintain and repair electrical equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions to minimize production delays
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant machinery
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Collaborate with other departments and participate in continuous improvement activities
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills

Qualifications & Skills

• Completion of an Apprenticeship Certificate in Electrical trade or six years of documented electrical experience
• Ability to pass assessments, drug testing, and background check
• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays
• Strong physical ability, including standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in a busy environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
