Electrician Journeyman

About the role

MetroPower is seeking Electricians for the Nexus Circular Project in McDonough, GA. The project involves installing process lines for the facility, scheduled to continue into 2027. This is an industrial process environment.

Shift Information

The current schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 10-hour days. Potential schedules could increase to 60 weeks Mon-Sat, Day shift. Additional overtime may be required. Must be willing to work weekends and nights when needed. Per diem is $125 per day worked for non-local employees (within 60 miles).

Qualifications & Experience

• This position requires an electrical technician capable of performing all types of electrical installation work and strong problem-solving skills.
• 3 years of electrical installation experience preferred.
• Must have a desire to work in a team-based environment and contribute immediately.
• Positive safety attitude and personal integrity.
• Able to self-start, display solid work ethic, and respect others.
• Able to pass a background check, drug test, and physical.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Completion of electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
• Past leadership experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to maintain a consistent workload involving moderate manual labor.
• Travel to various construction sites, exposing employee to outdoor elements, noise, and the need to stand and walk.
• Must be able to safely operate equipment required for electrical installations (ladders, lifts, hand and power tools, vehicles, etc.)
