We are looking for an experienced Certified Electrician to work in a manufacturing setting at our DeLand, FL location. Needed is a dependable individual who can multi-task with exceptional communication skills. This individual will need to be a team player. Coastline Power Solutions is an industry leading specialty power systems integrator that services the power generation industry. Located in DeLand, Florida, we engineer and manufacture customized generator enclosures, fuel tanks, and trailers, as well as provide a full suite of other related products and services, including bi-fuel systems, Mitsubishi engines and parts, and more. We also integrate and facilitate the testing of all customer-supplied and third-party equipment, which enables us to offer convenient turnkey solution options. Our engineered products are installed in critical applications throughout the United States and internationally, serving government agencies, the military, police and fire departments, hospitals, assisted living facilities, schools, data centers, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Installation of wiring, breakers, light packages, conduit, outlets, switchgear, high and medium voltage transformers, transfer switches, pipe bending, etc.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary fixes.
  • Follow engineering plans, drawings and instructions.
  • Verify work complies with applicable national and local electrical codes.
  • Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations, and maintain a safe and clean work area and tools.
  • Various other duties as required, directed, or assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Current State of Florida Certified Electrician / Electrical Contractor license.
  • 5+ years of experience as an electrician with industrial or manufacturing exposure.
  • Advanced knowledge of NEC and local codes.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience mentoring junior electricians.
  • Must pass drug test.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
  • Possess appropriate tools to perform job duties.

Physical Requirements

  • May frequently lift or move heavy weight material and work in difficult positions.
  • Frequent mental and visual attention on an intermittent basis.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel, lift, push and pull, work at heights, and in small tight spaces.
  • Requires working under somewhat disagreeable conditions where dust, dirt, heat, fumes, cold, vibration, noise, water or chemicals may be present.

Pay

$32.00 – $36.00 per hour

Schedule

Day shift (8 hours), Monday through Friday
