Electrician III

About the role

We’re hiring an Electrician Level 3 in Thomaston, GA!

Join a team that produces everyday plastic products like coffee lids and to-go containers, where your expertise keeps high-speed manufacturing lines running at full power.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, and repair equipment, electrical systems and facility electrical systems.
• Utilize electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature and pressure gauges.
• Maintain and utilize maintenance systems for work orders, breakdown reporting and track machine modifications.
• Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and light fixtures. Replace damaged or broken components.
• Troubleshoot electrical equipment.

Requirements

• Seven (7) years of experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment or machinery, or comparable experience with trade school or training.
• A High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in reading/writing wiring diagrams, programming PLCs, and a basic understanding of NEC.
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature and pressure gauges.
• Familiarity with a variety of tools and the ability to troubleshoot basic problems.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Skills

Proficiency in reading/writing wiring diagrams, programming PLCs, and a basic understanding of NEC.
