Electrician II

Responsibilities

• Identifies system failures to determine repair needs, installs equipment upgrades, and recommends long-term electrical strategies focused on cost savings.
• Develops and performs preventative maintenance schedules in strict alignment with NFPA, NEC, and TJC codes, while generating monthly performance reports.
• Outlines emergency procedures for power outages, responds to after-hours safety concerns, maintains vehicles and tools, and strictly follows PPE/standard safety precautions.
• Manages energy systems, communicates work order statuses to personnel for regulatory compliance, and travels across multiple facility sites as required.
• Led and assists with special projects, participates in professional development seminars, and provides direct training and support to lower-level electricians and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Required 3 years’ related experience with license.
• 5 years’ related experience in lieu of license.
• Must have one or more of the following:
• A High School diploma.
• A Graduate of trade school.
• Other equivalent combination of relevant education or experience.
