About the role
Trademasters Service, an award-winning federal contractor, is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our dynamic team. Located at 7208 Lockport Place, Lorton, VA 22079, this position offers full-time opportunities from 7AM to finish (hours vary), with flexibility required for overtime, on-call rotations for after-hours and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality and efficient services for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, call-desk operations, steam, boilers, UPS, generators, custodial, grounds, pest control, fire control systems, elevators, gates, bollards, service calls, architectural, structural and building systems.
- Maintain and repair facilities for government and commercial clients.
- Ensure compliance with NEC codes and regulations.
- Read and interpret schematics and work with basic hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Successfully pass a federal pre-employment drug screen and ongoing random checks.
- Complete a thorough background check and adhere to security standards for federal sites.
- Exhibit high standards of professionalism, work ethics, and integrity.
- Demonstrate strong work knowledge of job safety and ability to comply with safety requirements.
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Be motivated, willing to learn and grow, and possess strong technical knowledge.
- Communicate clearly and maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements
- Minimum of four (4) years of electrical experience in residential, commercial, and government settings.
- Journey or Master electrician licenses preferred.
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and related regulations.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical diagrams and schematics.
- Experience using basic hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Successful completion of a federal pre-employment drug screen and ongoing random checks.
- Background check and clearance to work on secured federal sites.
- High standards of professionalism, work ethics, and integrity.
- Strong work knowledge of job safety and ability to comply with safety requirements.
- Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to explain situations and work satisfactorily with customers and co-workers.
- Motivation, willingness to learn and grow, and strong technical knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
