Electrician A
Job Description
Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical power system, communications, lighting, and control systems. Be able to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all systems to ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations.
Education And Credentials
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Must hold NYS Journeyman Electrician License and have successfully completed NYS five (5) year apprenticeship program preferred.
- Successful completion of 5 year NYS apprenticeship program preferred.
Experience
- 8+ years experience in electrical work required.
- Must be familiar with voltages up to 5 kV.
- Higher voltage experience preferred.

Pay
Salary Range: $31.23 - $38.03
The wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
