Electrician A
About the role
The Electrician position requires proficiency in IP safety requirements, including LOTT, Arc Flash, Hot Work, Radar, and Lockout Exception Forms. Essential responsibilities include performing monthly PM inspections, providing maintenance support to production equipment, and troubleshooting electrical issues using PLCs, drives, and control circuits.
Responsibilities
- Proficient in all IP safety requirements
- Perform monthly PM inspections
- Provide maintenance support to production equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using PLCs, drives, and control circuits
- Support major projects such as roll changes
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years industrial electrical repair experience
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
- Experience in corrugated or converting industry preferred
Qualifications
- Skilled troubleshooting with volt meters, DC drives, and variable frequency AC drives
- Schematic reading and troubleshooting control circuits
- Program drives by setting initial parameters
- Service hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- General mechanical maintenance support of production equipment
- Work in a team environment
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and additional hours
- Flexible to cover shifts
Skills
- A high school diploma (or GED)
- One to two years experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Experience in the corrugated or converting industry preferred
