Electrician A

Job Description

Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical power system, communications, lighting, and control systems. Be able to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all systems to ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations.

About the Role

Grandfathering applies to license and apprenticeship program requirements for employees hired or transferred prior to 4/1/96.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Must hold NYS Journeyman Electrician License and have successfully completed NYS five (5) year apprenticeship program preferred.
• Must be familiar with voltages up to 5 kV. Higher voltage experience preferred.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• 8+ years experience in electrical work required.

Qualifications

• Experience: 8+ years experience in electrical work required.
