Electrician 1st Class-Base

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical maintenance and repair on equipment throughout the facility.
• Works on processes to improve efficiency.
• Completes projects with little or no supervision.
• Sets up, calibrates, maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots plant equipment, related processes, and facility infrastructure.
• Maintains a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Must have five (5) years of verifiable industrial electrical experience as a 1st class electrician or two-year electrical technical degree and related experience.
• Must successfully complete all AGY's assessment criteria, including Electrical equipment series assessment, high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have demonstrated mechanical aptitude by passing mechanical theory test.
• Must be able to push, pull, reach, bend, squat, twist, turn, climb, work overhead, wear required PPE, and work in a hot, confined environment.
• Must be able to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime.
