Service Electrician

About the role

Responsible for performing electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks in residential and commercial settings. Ensures compliance with local building codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment
• Perform inspections and tests to ensure compliance with safety and code requirements
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues using appropriate tools and techniques
• Communicate effectively with clients and other tradespeople to coordinate work
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• At least 2 years of related experience in electrical work
• Knowledge of electrical theory and practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to perform manual labor
• Pass a background check and drug screening

Skills

• Proficient in using hand and power tools
