Electricial Technician

About the role

Responsible for performing electrical work on Nucor facilities, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems. Must have a valid electrician's license.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in Nucor facilities.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all electrical codes and regulations.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Perform routine inspections and repairs on electrical equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid electrician's license.
• At least 2 years of related experience in electrical work.
• Knowledge of electrical theory and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to perform tasks in various environments.

Skills

• Proficient in using electrical tools and equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical testing instruments.
• Experience with OSHA standards and safety procedures.
