ELECTRICAL TEST & TRIALS WORKER-B

TYPICAL DUTIES

• Conducts and completes all testing and sea trials prior to acceptance, by the customer.
• Responds to all inquiries of customers, and agents of regulatory bodies concerning vessel testing.
• Maintains current documents of testing for all projects.
• SUBMIT STANDARD AND SPECIAL STATUS REPORTS AS ASSIGNED.
• Addresses deficiencies evidenced as a result of testing and works with Company engineers to correct deficiencies.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Considerable knowledge of shipbuilding processes and industry standards and regulations.
• Good knowledge of testing equipment and measuring devices and the ability to instruct inspectors on their proper operation.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications and develop sound, thorough inspection programs.
• Ability to effectively supervise and to interface effectively with customers, management and employees in all areas within the division.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & TRAINING

• 1-2 years experience in Electrical Testing duties or any equivalent combination of Electrical experience and training which results in the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
