Electrical Technician (Overnights) Pay $84,656.00 – $100,672.00 per year Job Description Join us and receive a $5000 sign on bonus! Salary range is $84k-$100k per year plus opportunity for overtime. The Opportunity Precious Plate is hiring an Electrical Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Technician, you will maintain electrical equipment to support manufacturing. This is a full-time position, working 7pm – 7am (Nights) on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, reporting to the Facilities Manager and Electrical Supervisor. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment up to 480VRepair recorders, timers, transducers, controls, fuses, heaters, rectifiers, lamps, motors, motor controls, electrical panels, switches, power supplies, pumps, circuit boards, and soldering equipmentUtilize programmable logic controllers to monitor production machinery; troubleshooting, repairing, and installationInstallation and layout of electrical wire ways and cabinets throughout the facilitiesOperate various power tools, man lifts, fork trucks, etc.Perform preventive maintenance and calibration programs according to ISO and TS standardsWork with AC/DC motors and various drives such as, Powerflex and KBRun simple conduits with EMT and PVC tubingSupport company goals while following all safety rules and proceduresOther duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills And Abilities High school graduate or equivalentTwo (2) year degree in electrical technology or equivalent experience preferredFamiliarity with blueprints, schematics, and ladder diagramsExperience with electrical panel building and diagnosis of electrical circuitsFamiliarity with maintenance, plumbing, and carpentry preferredAbility to read, write, and understand verbal and written instructionsBasic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divisionAbility to work independently and perform cooperatively with othersManual dexterity needed to perform some job functionsAbility to hear, see, occasionally bend, stoop and kneel, stand up to 12 hours per day, and push, pull or lift up to 50lbs as needed.
