About the role
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Technician to support safe, reliable, and high-quality manufacturing operations. This role focuses on equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, teamwork, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety, environmental, and health regulations and company policies to promote a strong safety culture and prevent accidents.
- Ensure equipment and materials meet quality standards; partner with Quality teams to prevent defects and improve product integrity.
- Resolve quality issues using structured problem-solving methods and support continuous improvement in maintenance and equipment reliability.
- Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance (preventive and corrective) and troubleshoot equipment issues as a first point of contact for breakdowns.
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and process changes; maintain accurate technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.
- Follow digital/automation and OT/ICS standards; use CMMS (Maximo) to record maintenance work and manage spare parts.
- Coach and support production teams during breakdowns and defects.
- Identify process losses and help improve efficiency; participate in kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
- Apply problem-solving tools to reduce downtime, waste, and defects.
- Work as part of a self-driven, collaborative team; share knowledge and communicate clearly across shifts.
- Complete required documentation for traceability and compliance; maintain training and technical qualifications.
- Support and improve standard work processes and maintenance standards; coach others to build team capability.
Requirements
- Technical education in Electronics, Electrical, Automation, or related field (Technical School or Technical University).
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills; experience with automation and control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and basic IT skills (MS Office, data entry systems).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; fluent in English.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Pay
Hourly rate: $38/hour.
