Electrical Technician

You'll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of equipment and document as directed supervisor.
• Set up and operate equipment as directed both in-house and at customer locations.
• Complete necessary paperwork timely and accurately, including data entry and general use of relevant computer systems and software as directed.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures both in-house and on customer locations and handle repairs.
• Utilize mathematical formulas to determine both nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
• Test, maintain, and repair BESS products including battery cells, modules, controls, and related ancillary systems (fire suppressant, hvac, etc.). Set up, commission, operate equipment at customer sites.

Requirements

• Technical aptitude; knowledge in Generators, Industrial HVAC equipment, Air Compressors, Electrical Distribution, Power Generation, Load banks, and Battery Energy Storage Systems.
• Ability and drive to grow, personally and professionally; desire to be a good team player in a growing and aggressive company.
• Will to get hands dirty, sweat, and interact with internal and external customs to deliver solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements.
• Experience with BESS equipment including battery cells, modules, racks, management systems / controls, power conversion related technology & equipment.
• Associate degree / diploma in Applied Science preferred.
