What You Get To Do
- Inspect and repair general lighting and power circuits as well as miscellaneous electrical devices
- Install lighting and receptacle circuitry in existing structures, as well as in new additions
- Learn and participate in daily ride inspections
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services
- Provide support in troubleshooting problems with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment
- Consistently practice safe work habits including, but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafe situations
What It Takes To Succeed
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a park driver’s license
- Ability to provide and use basic hand tools
- Ability to pass all ride competency tests and obtain certification
- Able to frequently lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
- Excellent communication skills and basic math abilities
- Able to walk uphill and work on heights above 150 feet
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather
- Able to work varied hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
