About the role

JOULE is seeking a skilled electrical technician for an industrial manufacturing client in Bath, PA!

Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical and electronic equipment - Install, calibrate, and modify electrical components, instrumentation, and controls - Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and work orders - Install power and control wiring, conduit, and cable tray systems - Perform preventative maintenance on generators, traction motors, and related equipment - Inspect, service, and repair electric motors, including bearing replacement and lubrication - Complete required maintenance documentation and work orders - Maintain a safe and clean work environment while following all company safety procedures

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on industrial electrical maintenance experience - High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or technical training preferred) - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints - Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems - Ability to successfully pass the Electronic Technician A assessment (multiple choice exam with electrical diagram interpretation) - Experience with industrial electric motors (installation and troubleshooting), PID controllers, 480V power distribution, and 4160V switchgear is highly desired - Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing environments - Work comfortably around dust, noise, heat, and varying environmental conditions - Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and elevated walkways and work at heights - Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces - Wearing required PPE, including respirators and safety equipment - PLC troubleshooting experience is a strong plus but not required
