Electrical Supervisor (West TX/Southern NM)

Tetra Tech Digital Systems is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead industrial electrical, instrumentation, and automation projects throughout West Texas and New Mexico.
This role is responsible for supervising field crews, ensuring safe and efficient project execution, supporting customer relationships, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Supervise electricians, instrumentation technicians, apprentices, and subcontractors.
- Lead electrical construction, commissioning, maintenance, and automation projects.
- Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to support project success.
- Review drawings, schematics, and project specifications.
- Oversee startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and system turnover activities.
- Maintain safety compliance and foster a strong safety culture.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 10+ years of industrial electrical experience.
- 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Experience supporting Oil & Gas, Midstream, Pipeline, Compression, Processing, or Industrial facilities.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, NEC standards, PLCs, RTUs, SCADA, and automation systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout West Texas and New Mexico.
Preferred qualifications include a Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician License, experience with Allen-Bradley, Emerson ROC/FB Series, Siemens, or Schneider platforms, and bilingual English/Spanish.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to visit active industrial and construction sites.
- Travel required based on project and customer needs.
- Must be able to meet customer site requirements, including background screenings and drug/alcohol testing.
