We are looking for an Electrical Supervisor to join our team in Newberry, FL.

About the Role

  • Optimize and maintain plant electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure safe, reliable performance.
  • Maintain plant electrical standards and promote upgrades to enhance plant performance.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining plant reports and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Initiate, authorize, and schedule routine contract work, ensuring cost control through scope of work, purchase order approvals, and budget tracking.
  • Perform follow-up inspections after repairs or new equipment installations.
  • Ensure conformance with Automation, IT, and corporate guidelines.
  • Provide technical expertise in specific areas of the cement plant and communicate effectively across all levels.
  • Assist in entering new equipment numbers and updating equipment parts catalogs.
  • Support the budgeting process by advising on planning and scheduling major electrical activities.
  • Generate and publish maintenance KPIs monthly, analyze performance, and suggest improvements.
  • Maintain housekeeping and organization of electrical substations and maintenance shops.
  • Ensure proactive electrical analysis in process, coordination, and reliability meetings.
  • Stay knowledgeable about current safety regulations and promote plant safety, including managing the Quikrete Safety Program.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years' experience in industrial process systems or equivalent education.
  • Electrical aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate solid leadership skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and action-oriented.
  • Willingness to meet on-call responsibilities for a 24/7 plant operation.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including physical, background check, and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education from a two-year college, technical school, or equivalent program.
  • Proven background in a similar role within a cement or production-oriented environment.
