Electrical Supervisor

About the role

This position is responsible for managing and coordinating daily operations, overseeing maintenance, and ensuring the reliable performance of plant and facility equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance departments, plan work activities, and oversee safety and labor relations.
• Implement and monitor Maintenance, Repair, and Management (MRM) and Asset Management policies.
• Review work packages, technical procedures, and maintenance practices for quality and compliance.
• Contribute to budgeting, training, and skill development for staff.
• Analyze operational issues, recommend solutions, and ensure work is performed safely and efficiently.
• Manage personnel including performance, discipline, and labor relations, including union staff.
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize manpower and outage scheduling.

Requirements

• High school diploma or associate’s degree; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience, with supervisory background.
• Knowledge of maintenance systems, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to mentor staff and handle performance issues effectively.
• Physical capability to perform job duties and valid driver’s license.
• 24/7 availability and ability to perform duties at various craft levels.
