About the role

Cummings Electrical is expanding our Integrated Manufacturing team in Arlington, TX. We design and build custom, integrated, modular systems such as e-houses, electrical skids, HAC’s, and UL 508A panels for projects including data centers, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, and more. As part of our team, you will work hands-on in a fast-paced, innovative environment, helping reduce jobsite risks, accelerate project timelines, and deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Train, manage, and evaluate production team members
  • Assist Project Manager in preparing and updating production schedules
  • Create and maintain daily reports, timesheets, safety, and accident reports
  • Coordinate and monitor installation progress
  • Plan, organize, and direct production in accordance with the contracted scope of work or executed purchase order agreement
  • Oversee the implementation and compliance with quality assurance and quality control programs
  • Coordinate with Project Manager, Purchasing, and Logistics teams to ensure timely material delivery for construction
  • Ensure all installations meet quality and electrical code standards
  • Review submittals, budgets, schedules, and other aspects necessary for successful product orders
  • Maintain and foster contacts with consultants, contractors, vendors, and material suppliers
  • Serve as an interface between internal clients, including IM Engineering, Operations, Safety, and Quality teams, to facilitate interdepartmental relations and program goals
  • Ensure component layouts and bill of material takeoffs comply with constructability and operability needs
  • Act as a subject matter expert regarding various electrical installation activities
  • Participate in engineering, design, and production review processes as requested by Project Manager
  • Interpret plans, specifications, drawings, and documents related to engineering and construction

Reports to Project Manager.

Requirements

  • Must be a Safety True Believer
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in the electrical or integrated construction industry, with a concentration in large commercial construction projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred; previous work as a Licensed Electrician or Supervisor is a plus
  • Ability to prepare, manage, and accurately update production schedules (MS Project)
  • Prior knowledge and understanding of the estimating process
  • Exposure to ACCUBID and/or ConEst is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel, and familiarity with MS Teams and SharePoint
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Willing to travel to develop vendor relationships and conduct incremental factory inspections as required
