Electrical Superintendent

Our Employee-Owned company has immediate full-time openings for an Electrical Superintendent across Industrial, Commercial, Healthcare, Federal, and Wastewater sectors. This position is part of an amazing and growing team.

About the role

We are seeking a decisive leader with a passion for hands-on work in outdoor environments, particularly in wastewater systems, instrumentation, and control. A strong drive for construction project management and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-based environment are essential. Immediate contributions are expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee craft workers assigned to specific areas of responsibility, utilizing all resources effectively
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, safety requirements, work rules, and applicable regulations
• Document all violations, notify project management, and recommend corrective actions as needed
• Conduct accident investigations when required
• Ensure compliance with all company, client, and project policies, standards, and procedures
• Motivate team members to achieve objectives and maintain a high standard of work
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite functions such as scheduling, engineering, and material control
• Organize and plan the work for which you are responsible, ensuring all necessary materials, tools, and information are prepared in advance
• Maintain a daily job journal detailing actual events, decisions, and progress
• Oversee technical aspects of projects related to wastewater treatment systems, instrumentation, and control

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Positive safety attitude and personal integrity
• Strong customer service orientation and team player; ability to create and maintain strong customer relationships
• Valid driver’s license and insured personal transportation required
• At least 7 years of prior experience in electrical construction, with a focus on wastewater, instrumentation, and control, in DOD, healthcare, industrial, or premier commercial sectors
• Expertise in estimating, scheduling, and budget processes; 2-4 years of related experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of the NEC and NFPA 70E
• Ability to manage risk and profitability effectively
