Electrical Superintendent

This full-time Construction Superintendent role oversees safe-harbored solar projects and other construction initiatives from inception to completion. You will lead on-site operations, ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, and uphold high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring all activities adhere to safety regulations and established quality standards.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, laborers, and other on-site personnel to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
• Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to ensure accurate and timely completion of work.
• Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the construction process to meet project specifications and client expectations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring efficient allocation of labor, materials, and equipment.
• Utilize construction management software to track project milestones, document progress, and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations and all applicable safety standards on-site, promoting a culture of safety for all team members.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and other stakeholders to provide clear and timely updates on project status, risks, and achievements.
• Support a culture of safety and excellence by modeling best practices and reinforcing company standards across all project activities.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating, budgeting, and contract management.
• High proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with quality control processes and standards in construction projects.
• Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead, mentor, and motivate diverse teams effectively.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills under pressure.
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations and a demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Proficiency or strong aptitude for using construction management software.
• Effective written communication skills, including clear and accurate documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience managing safe-harbored solar projects or similar renewable energy construction projects.
• Background in construction management or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including project managers, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $80.00/hr.
