Electrical Service Technician

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Starting at $25/hr. and up + annual bonus potential

We’re working closely with Facility Automation Solutions as they expand their Service Team and add a new Controls Service Technician in Jacksonville. The majority of clients are within the Greater Jacksonville area, allowing for a better work/life balance with limited extended travel. Ideal candidates will have strong electrical troubleshooting skills with hands-on experience servicing commercial low-voltage systems. Responsibilities

• Service environmental-control and building systems (HVAC, lighting, access, etc.)
• Check and verify a variety of sensors (temperature, amps, static pressure, relays, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and repair system issues to ensure operational efficiency
• Perform system diagnostics and calibrations to maintain peak performance
• Review and interpret electrical schematic wiring diagrams
• Travel to client sites and provide remote diagnostics when possible
• Ensure equipment safety standards and maintain safe work environments
• Act as a liaison between internal teams and external clients
• Participate in on-call rotation (typically, once every fifth week)
• Pursue ongoing education and training

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience troubleshooting commercial low-voltage systems required
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills including wiring relays required
• Driver’s license required
• In-office required when not traveling

Schedule

Full-time, M-F, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (4–6 hours of weekly OT typically available on a voluntary basis and paid at time-and-a-half; occasional mandatory OT may be required to support customer needs)

Start date: ASAP

On-call rotation: typically, once every fifth week

Local (no overnights); company car provided (after onboarding)
