Responsibilities
- Ensuring a safe environment at all jobsites, keeping the site clean and organized, and wearing all PPE.
- Adhering to NEC requirements.
- Representing Prism Electric, Inc. well by providing excellent customer service when in client facing situations.
- Troubleshooting a wide variety of commercial and manufacturing systems.
- Troubleshooting and installation of motor control systems.
- Commercial installations
- Manufacturing and light industrial installations
- Generator installations
- UPS installations
- Lighting installations
Requirements
- Minimum of three years’ experience working in a commercial service setting.
- State of Texas Journeyman or Masters license.
- Texas Driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Able to work in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, and rain.
- Able to wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses always), respirator when required.
- Able to work 8 -10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, and overtime as required and night shifts.
- Physical demands include crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, able to routinely lift heavy objects more than 50 pounds and pushing and pulling of objects is required.
- Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.
- Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of the job.
