Electrical Service Technician

About the role

The Electrical Service Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems in various facilities. This includes troubleshooting issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions in industrial and commercial settings.
• Install new electrical components and wiring according to specifications.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance to prevent equipment failure.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients and other technicians to resolve issues promptly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• At least 2 years of related experience in electrical work.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good physical condition to perform manual labor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
• Familiarity with electrical testing equipment.

Pay

Salary range: $25,000 - $35,000 annually.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
