Electrical Service Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Installing and maintaining wiring, control, and lighting systems in various settings, from homes to industrial facilities.
• Performing routine inspections and maintenance on electrical equipment, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to ensure optimal performance.
• Identifying and repairing faults in electrical components, wiring, and equipment using diagnostic devices and hand/power tools.
• Diagnosing electrical problems and implementing effective solutions to restore functionality.
• Ensuring all electrical work adheres to building regulations, code requirements, and company safety standards.
• Maintaining records of service and repair work, as well as keeping track of supplies and equipment.

Technical Skills

• Ability to read blueprints, interpret technical diagrams, and use a variety of electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve electrical issues.
• Meticulous focus on details to ensure accuracy in installations, repairs, and safety checks.
• Effective communication skills to inform individuals about equipment issues and collaborate with team members.
• Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and best practices to work safely.
