Responsibilities

  • Ensuring a safe environment at all jobsites, keeping the site clean and organized, and wearing all PPE.
  • Adhering to NEC requirements.
  • Representing Prism Electric well by providing excellent customer service when in client facing situations.
  • Troubleshooting a wide variety of commercial and manufacturing systems.
  • Troubleshooting and installation of motor control systems.
  • Commercial installations
  • Manufacturing and light industrial installations
  • Generator installations
  • UPS installations
  • Lighting installations

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years’ experience working in a commercial service setting.
  • State of Texas Journeyman or Masters license.
  • Texas Driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Able to work in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, and rain.
  • Able to wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses always), respirator when required.
  • Able to work 8 -10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, and overtime as required and night shifts.
  • Physical demands include crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, able to routinely lift heavy objects more than 50 pounds and pushing and pulling of objects is required.
  • Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.
  • Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of the job.
