Electrical Service Technician

About the role

MetroPower is seeking Electrical Service Technicians in Tucker, GA, to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and associated equipment while adhering to the National Electric Code (NEC) and equipment specifications.

Responsibilities

• Use diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, cable testers, thermal scanners, and ammeters to safely and effectively identify electrical problems and recommend repairs.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Exhibit professionalism during interactions with business owners and operators.
• Document interactions with clients.
• Work with colleagues in a team environment.
• Perform additional tasks necessary to build and grow the department.
• Conduct all business interactions in accordance with MetroPower’s mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

• Current Driver’s License and reliable transportation (Required).
• High school graduate, General Education Development (GED), or equivalent education (Required).
• Minimum 3-5 years of previous electrical experience (Required).
• Georgia Electrical Contractors License (Preferred).
• Completion of electrical apprenticeship (Preferred).
• Desire to work in a team-based environment and contribute immediately.
• Positive and safety-conscious attitude with personal integrity (non-negotiable).

Total compensation is dependent on experience and knowledge.
