Electrical Service Technician

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assists with the repair and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical systems and photovoltaic systems.
• Assists with commercial PV system commissioning.
• Assists with documenting service requests throughout the repair, start to finish.
• Communicating system status to the customer as well as the department Manager.
• Operate, stock, and maintain company service vehicle.
• Aid other electricians with tasks.
• Willing to travel.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 1-year professional electrical training with PV experience highly desirable.
• Safety minded.
• Able and willing to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able and willing to work in a team environment.
• Able to multi-task effectively.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent customer relationship skills, including professional appearance and manner.
• Effective, professional oral and written communications skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications and word processing.
