About the role

Manage and procure small projects of a highly technical nature. Direct the efficient installation of contractual obligations. Recognize and grow key customer relationships; sell, estimate, and manage safety & production in these ongoing turnkey relationships. Work closely with other department supervisors/managers to ensure customer and employee satisfaction and accurate manpower planning.

Responsibilities

Employee & Customer Satisfaction

  • Satisfy customers to provide repeat sales and favorable recommendations.
  • Survey all customers quarterly and at least once at project completion for quickly completed projects.
  • Achieve a minimum customer satisfaction rating of 8.5 out of 10 points and respond to all comments for process improvement.
  • Facilitate an annual employee survey in your area, aiming for 70% participation and a minimum score of 85%.
  • Address all process improvement-related comments from surveys.

Sales & Profitability

  • Achieve at minimum the budgeted net profit in the annual budget, which may be higher or lower than the established objective in the AC plan.
  • Provide leads, estimates, budgets, customer proposals, and build relationships with repeat customers.
  • Achieve a minimum budgeted sales goal for the annual year.

Safety/Hazard Recognition & Elimination

  • Pre-plan and identify methods to eliminate hazards daily by work task.
  • Demonstrate skill in observing habits and hazards of others and bringing them to their attention.
  • Uphold safety as the most important goal of our company, supporting the goal of achieving zero accidents.
  • Promote and encourage open communication between the field and office regarding all safety concerns, suggestions, improvements, and PPE needs.

Requirements

  • High school education, G.E.D., or equivalent level of education required.
  • Florida Electrical License preferred but not required.
  • 2-4 years of service experience or technical background in a related field.
  • Some exposure to construction required; 2 years of field training preferred.
