Electrical Sales and Service Representative

Smith Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, & Electrical is looking for an Electrical Sales and Service Representative to join their residential electrical team.
This role is for someone who understands electrical work, enjoys helping homeowners, and can explain electrical solutions clearly.

What You Will Do
- Meet with residential customers in their homes.
- Inspect and identify electrical needs, concerns, and opportunities.
- Explain your findings in clear, simple language.
- Present premium-to-economy options.
- Provide estimates and accurate job details.
- Complete the electrical work you sell when qualified.
- Cook up with the proper Smith team members when work requires additional licensing, training, manpower, or support.
- Complete company-assigned project work when requested.
- Ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and to applicable electrical code requirements.
- Stay organized with leads, estimates, follow-ups, and job notes.
- Represent Smith professionally in the home and in the field.

- Residential electrical or in-home sales experience is valuable, but it is not the only thing we look for.

- Residential service electrician background.
- Experience with troubleshooting, panels, lighting, devices, dedicated circuits, surge protection, safety upgrades, or related residential electrical work.
- Home-service sales experience.
- Experience in a performance-based pay role.
Compensation and Benefits
This role includes commission-based earnings for representative-sold work and $35 to $50 per hour for company-assigned project work, based on experience.
Expected combined annual earnings are typically $50,000 to $100,000+ per year, depending on experience, lead volume, customer demand, completed work, performance, and results.
Top performers can exceed $100,000+ per year.
