About the Role

Quality Control inspection and associated documentation of Electrical systems within a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate compliance of federal, state, and local codes and regulations.
• Interface with client to oversee electrical construction work across multiple buildings.
• Mitigate roadblocks to construction progress via design review.
• Inspect all electrical system installations including high voltage, medium voltage, low voltage, LSS, I&C, and power distribution.
• Upload inspection reports to the project EIDA electronic documentation system.
• Verify that all subcontractor inspectors are qualified per project specifications.
• Participate in turnover package documentation.
• Represent MSR-FSR in project meetings and strategy meetings.
• Formulate reports on work progress, costs, scheduling, inspections, and system tests.
• Complete all QA documentation required for the project.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of verifiable electrical experience within a construction field.
• Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician certification required.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (IEEE, NEMA, NFPA, NETA).
• Computer skills: MS Office, Bluebeam, PowerPoint.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Frequently required to: stand, walk, sit, utilize hand and finger dexterity, talk, or hear.
• Occasionally required to: climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, taste or smell, work near moving mechanical parts, work in high or precarious places, work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Occasionally lift and/or move more than 20 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including protective eye wear, hard hat, lab coat, gloves, steel-toed shoes, and hearing protection.
• Must be able to safely access and traverse indoor and outdoor obstacles for site inspections, including climbing ladders, walking on stairs, catwalks, and uneven surfaces.
