Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, codes, and client specifications.
- Cook up and coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors and vendors to ensure seamless execution.
- Travel to job sites, as needed, for meetings, walk-throughs, project kick-offs, and to collaborate with field crew.
- Schedule & Forecasting
- Create and maintain accurate project schedules.
- Forecast labor, material, and equipment needs to prevent delays and cost overruns.
- Manage change orders, ensuring timely and accurate adjustments while coordinating relevant schedule modifications to maintain project alignment.
- Clearly and timely, communicate with field supervisor to share short and long-term field requirements for your projects.
- Financial Management
- Maintain and manage project budgets to achieve bottom-line results.
- Track costs, identify variances, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Negotiate change orders for scope and schedule changes, as they arise.
- Provide timely and precise progress billing, ensuring all financial aspects are accurately tracked and reported.
- Review and accurately present cost and billing adjustments for over/under analysis.
- Team Leadership
- Understand and adhere to established TRC processes and procedures.
- Provide guidance and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
- Communicate timely, and escalate all performance issues to the Field Supervisor.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in electrical construction.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
