Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee commercial and/or industrial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with the ability to manage budgets, schedules, field personnel, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple electrical construction projects simultaneously from award through completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Cookordinate with owners, general contractors, engineers, vendors, and field teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Lead project kickoff meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and change orders.
  • Manage procurement of materials and equipment to meet project timelines.
  • Oversee project financials, including cost tracking, billing, forecasting, and profitability.
  • Identify project risks and proactively develop solutions to keep projects on schedule.
  • Support field Superintendents and Foremen with manpower planning and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards, NEC requirements, and company quality expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for future work.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in electrical construction.
  • Experience managing commercial, industrial, healthcare, manufacturing, data center, or institutional electrical projects.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and construction processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software (Bluebeam, Procore, Accubid, Viewpoint, or similar).
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Journeyman Electrician license or field experience is a plus.
