Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee commercial and/or industrial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with the ability to manage budgets, schedules, field personnel, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple electrical construction projects simultaneously from award through completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
- Cookordinate with owners, general contractors, engineers, vendors, and field teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Lead project kickoff meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
- Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and change orders.
- Manage procurement of materials and equipment to meet project timelines.
- Oversee project financials, including cost tracking, billing, forecasting, and profitability.
- Identify project risks and proactively develop solutions to keep projects on schedule.
- Support field Superintendents and Foremen with manpower planning and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards, NEC requirements, and company quality expectations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for future work.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in electrical construction.
- Experience managing commercial, industrial, healthcare, manufacturing, data center, or institutional electrical projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and construction processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software (Bluebeam, Procore, Accubid, Viewpoint, or similar).
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required.
- Journeyman Electrician license or field experience is a plus.
