Responsibilities
- Assisting in managing the electrical portion of industrial construction projects.
- Work closely with superintendents and foremen in the field and interface with clients.
- Attend construction meetings, track schedules, manage budgets, and estimate jobs.
- Write proposals, place material orders, coordinate equipment deliveries, and distribute project-specific documents.
Requirements
- 5 - 10+ years’ experience in Industrial Electrical Construction/Installation.
- Good understanding of the National Electrical Code.
- Ability to read and understand construction specifications and detailed drawings.
- Computer proficiency with all MS applications, including MS Project or Planner.
- Experience in planning and scheduling.
- Strong customer interface and relationship building skills.
- Ability to communicate with crews in the field, including union employees.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Knowledgeable in electrical applications in an industrial environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with estimating software, such as Accubid or McCormick.
- Estimating experience required.
- Capable of walking throughout a large manufacturing plant for required meetings and other required duties.
Qualifications
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening, background check and motor vehicle report (MVR) according to company and client policies.
