About the role
This role is responsible for the overall direction, financial and risk management of large commercial and industrial electrical construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage the people, resources, goals and deliverables necessary to make the project successful.
- Facilitate and design the overall project, scope, and deliverables.
- Formulate full-scale project plans with timelines, tasks, resources, and budget.
- Prioritize, delegate, assess risks, communicate, and multitask.
- Collaborate, direct, and get the job done when problems arise, things get off track, or emergencies present themselves.
- Measure progress and results, financial and otherwise, and provide clarity.
- Connect strategies to outcomes and results.
- Build relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and coworkers.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience in construction project management.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management, with experience managing multiple large projects in electrical construction (strongly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Bluebeam, Accubid, and MS Office Suite.
- Able to travel regionally to project sites within the Middle Tennessee region.
