About the role

This role is responsible for the overall direction, financial and risk management of large commercial and industrial electrical construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the people, resources, goals and deliverables necessary to make the project successful.
  • Facilitate and design the overall project, scope, and deliverables.
  • Formulate full-scale project plans with timelines, tasks, resources, and budget.
  • Prioritize, delegate, assess risks, communicate, and multitask.
  • Collaborate, direct, and get the job done when problems arise, things get off track, or emergencies present themselves.
  • Measure progress and results, financial and otherwise, and provide clarity.
  • Connect strategies to outcomes and results.
  • Build relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and coworkers.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience in construction project management.
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management, with experience managing multiple large projects in electrical construction (strongly preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Bluebeam, Accubid, and MS Office Suite.
  • Able to travel regionally to project sites within the Middle Tennessee region.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with project management software such as Bluebeam and Accubid.
  • Knowledge of electrical construction practices and safety protocols.
