Electrical Project Engineer - Distribution

Role Overview

A leading global engineering and consulting firm seeks an Electrical Distribution Project Engineer to support and lead the delivery of distribution projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver overhead and underground distribution projects (up to 34.5kV) from design through execution
• Serve as a technical resource and mentor to junior engineers and designers
• Manage project performance across scope, budget, schedule, and quality
• Work directly with clients to develop solutions, present designs, and guide project outcomes
• Contribute to project strategy, process improvements, and overall team growth

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in distribution engineering (4kV–34.5kV)
• Experience with overhead and/or underground distribution design
• Strong understanding of NESC, NEC, and utility standards
• Experience working with utility clients (IOU experience preferred)
• Ability to manage projects and communicate directly with clients
• PE license preferred (or on track)
