Electrical Project Coordinator

About the role

We’re looking for an Electrical Project Coordinator to join our Projects team on nuclear projects in New Jersey. The coordinator is responsible for activities prior to field implementation, allowing supervisors to focus on craft. This role has been a proven performance enhancer at various sites.

Responsibilities

• Meet with the project manager and engineering to discuss the design plan for the project.
• Schedule and conduct a walk-down with the D&Z estimator and lead supervisors.
• Provide a written review of the proposed project to the client to confirm the project can proceed as designed.
• Develop a risk matrix with the manager to identify all areas of concern that may pose a risk during project implementation.
• Work with the estimator to provide the client a budgetary estimate (±10%) for the project manager to secure funding.
• Create a project schedule in collaboration with site team leads (mechanical, electrical, and civil) and the site project lead.
• Work with the Planner to procure all parts and materials, providing a weekly status of long-lead items.
• Control and monitor the project budget, providing a weekly report of progress for hours worked versus earned value.
• Provide a written close-out report outlining all work completed, packages closed, and proper turnover to the client.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $95,000–$171,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as the final offer may vary based on factors including experience and geographic location.
