Electrical Program Manager

Duties And Responsibilities

• Identify, define, combine, unify, and coordinate project management activities.
• Ensure projects include all required scope and only the required scope.
• Plan, execute, monitor, and control project completion within contractual schedules.
• Understand and manage interdependencies among project tasks.
• Estimate, budget, manage, and control project costs according to approved budgets.
• Align project work with quality policies, procedures, objectives, and standards.
• Analyze and recommend project resource needs to appropriate company leaders.
• Manage project information throughout its lifecycle.
• Handle changes to scope, schedule, and cost, including internal and client changes.
• Conduct risk management planning, identification, analysis, and response planning.
• Purchase or acquire project-related products, services, or results through Request For Proposal events.
• Identify, analyze, and engage stakeholders to support project decisions and execution.

Education And/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, Engineering, Construction, Business, or related technical field preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience, 7+ in a Project Management position.
• PMP certification preferred or obtainable within 12 months of employment.
• Experience in engineering and design of high voltage (69-500kV) transmission lines using PLS-CADD.
• Knowledge of conducting analysis to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
