About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented Senior Electrical Engineer to join their expanding MEP team. Project types include:

Responsibilities

  • Drive electrical system design from initial concept through full construction documentation
  • Perform engineering analyses and calculations to validate system design and performance
  • Craft creative, effective solutions to complex design challenges across diverse project types
  • Coordinate with architects, mechanical and structural engineers, and contractors to support seamless project delivery
  • Review and apply relevant local, state, and federal codes and standards
  • Mentor junior engineers and designers within the MEP department
  • Support design reviews and construction-phase services as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
  • 8+ years of hands-on electrical system design experience
  • Active PE license in good standing in the state of employment (or the ability to obtain one)
  • Demonstrated experience designing power distribution, lighting and lighting controls, grounding and bonding, fire alarm systems, and low-voltage systems (telecom, paging, nurse call)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Familiarity with electrical analysis software (SKM) and lighting photometric tools (Visual)

Pay

$110,000 - $140,000 per year
