About the role

The Senior Electrical Engineer position is available across several offices in Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, Maryland, Florida, and Indiana. Project types include military/DoD facilities, healthcare, federal, justice, K–12, higher education, corporate commercial, pharmacy, retail, multifamily & assisted living, hospitality, cultural & historic, data centers, industrial, and residential.

Responsibilities

• Driving electrical system design from initial concept through full construction documentation
• Performing engineering analyses and calculations to validate system design and performance
• Crafting creative, effective solutions to complex design challenges across diverse project types
• Coordinating with architects, mechanical and structural engineers, and contractors to support seamless project delivery
• Reviewing and applying relevant local, state, and federal codes and standards
• Mentoring junior engineers and designers within the MEP department
• Supporting design reviews and construction-phase services as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
• 8+ years of hands-on electrical system design experience
• Active PE license in good standing in the state of employment (or the ability to obtain one)
• Demonstrated experience designing power distribution, lighting and lighting controls, grounding and bonding, fire alarm systems, and low-voltage systems (telecom, paging, nurse call)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Familiarity with electrical analysis software (SKM) and lighting photometric tools (Visual)
