Electrical Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the project management team within the division.
• Responsible for work assignments, hiring, promotions, and performance appraisal.
• Develop and execute divisional goals and strategic plans aligned with overall company objectives.
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, and client satisfaction.
• Ensure the successful execution of all projects within the division from preconstruction through closeout.
• Monitor job progress, budgets, manpower, and risk across multiple projects.
• Support project teams with technical expertise, schedule management, and problem resolution.
• Monitor project financials, change orders, billing, and cash flow to ensure healthy margins.
• Report divisional performance and KPIs to executive leadership.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, developers, owners, and design teams.
• Optimize internal processes to improve efficiency, safety, and project delivery timelines.
• Oversee staffing, recruitment, and training needs within the division.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical construction, including 5+ years in a senior project management or operations leadership role.
• Proven success managing large-scale commercial, industrial, multifamily residential, and/or mixed-use projects.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of financial drivers in construction.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing multiple teams and complex schedules across concurrent projects.
• Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, MS Project, Viewpoint, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred. Equivalent field experience accepted.
• Master Electrician License or equivalent technical certifications are a plus.
