Competencies Business Acumen Curiosity Interpersonal Skills Influence Skills Self-Starter Negotiation Skills Organization Skills Results Oriented Pay Range $67,400.00 - $84,300.00 POSITION SCOPE: Coordinates and prioritizes daily work activities for Electrical/Mechanical Assembly Technicians, providing guidance, technical support, and direction to help achieve quality, delivery, and safety objectives. Serves as a resource for problem-solving and process improvement while performing direct assembly duties approximately 50% of the time. Limited travel is required. Position Responsibilities Provide input for performance reviews in partnership with the assembly leadership teamConduct and participate in safety meetings; identify and resolve safety concernsIdentify and recommend overtime needsManage test product and glue inventory; resolve quantity and quality issues with Project ManagersSchedule service trips based on workload, customer needs and traveler availabilityProvide direction for resolving process or machine issues with assembly and engineering teamsParticipate in or lead 5S, Continuous Improvement and/or ISO initiativesResolve assembly process and SOP quality issuesRequisition department supplies Monitor and manage electrical and mechanical assembly floor stock Coordinate service PC preventive maintenance with the Electrical Engineer team Review schematics and panel layouts with the Electrical Engineer team prior to machine assemblyPartner with the Electrical Engineer team to support implementation of new technologies and technician training Collaborate with assembly leadership to establish weekly shop priorities Attend pre-production meetings; gather and communicate project informationParticipate in monthly team meetings and help develop meeting agendasAssist team members with preventive maintenance activities Audit DAMSGARs (Design and Manufacturing Safety Guide and Record) with Engineering Complete Day 1 onboarding activities for new employeesCalibrate equipment in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 procedures and follow-up on issuesProvide SAP support to the assembly teamSupport safety improvements and coordinate safety-related eventsParticipate in rotating Safety Committee meetingsMaintain LOTO audit records and update documentationReview annual fall protection requirementsPrepare machine serial tags for engravingSupport Quality Notifications, including component testing and return-ticket trackingPromote teamwork and collaboration across departments Education And Experience Required High School Education or equivalent + 6 years of experience Graphic Packaging is an equal opportunity employer and abides by all applicable federal, state provincial and local laws with respect to the recruitment and hiring process.
