ELECTRICAL-MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

Job Description

Under the direction of the Electronic Engineer, this position is a key part of a team responsible for the rebuilding and refurbishment of film extrusion equipment. Basic functions include electrical panel assembly, machine wiring, AutoCAD drawings/schematics, mechanical assembly, and initial equipment disassembly. May include making modifications to existing equipment, repairs, and preventative maintenance functions.

Education And Experience

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering Technician, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering or similar.
• 2-5 years’ industrial maintenance experience.
• Mechanics and machine operation.
• PLC troubleshooting experience.
• VFDs, motors, sensors, and controls.
• Pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting.
• Electrical systems and schematics.
• Workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to diagnose and repair automated manufacturing equipment.
