ELECTRICAL-MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN
Job Description
Under the direction of the Electronic Engineer, this position is a key part of a team responsible for the rebuilding and refurbishment of film extrusion equipment. Basic functions include electrical panel assembly, machine wiring, AutoCAD drawings/schematics, mechanical assembly, and initial equipment disassembly. May include making modifications to existing equipment, repairs, and preventative maintenance functions.
Education And Experience
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering Technician, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering or similar.
- 2-5 years’ industrial maintenance experience.
- Mechanics and machine operation.
- PLC troubleshooting experience.
- VFDs, motors, sensors, and controls.
- Pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting.
- Electrical systems and schematics.
- Workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to diagnose and repair automated manufacturing equipment.
Pay And Benefits
Pay: $26.30 to $36.56. Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and technical knowledge.
