Electrical Mechanical Technician -3rd shift

About the role

With minimum supervision, performs maintenance functions on equipment, machinery, and buildings. Constructs machine components and performs plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Complete all maintenance functions for buildings, machinery, mechanical equipment, and physical structures without supervision.
• Conduct diagnostic and troubleshooting inspections of equipment; make adjustments and repairs as necessary.
• Construct machine components as required.
• Perform electrical and electronic work, including design and installation of electrical circuits and controls.
• Construct and repair structures and fixtures from wood, plywood, and wallboard following written or verbal instructions.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and service hydraulic systems, including changing valves and making adjustments.
• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and install servo controls.
• Troubleshoot PLC controls using a laptop.
• Train and develop other maintenance department personnel.
• Complete required paperwork, including job cards, inspection reports, and logs.
• Work late evenings, early mornings, or other unscheduled hours for emergency repairs as needed.

Requirements

• High school education with four or more years’ experience in industrial maintenance (required).
• Associate’s degree in industrial technology with emphasis in industrial maintenance and four or more years’ experience (preferred).

Pay

Hourly pay range starts at $30.50.
