Electrical Manager I / II (Energy Storage)

About the role

We are seeking experienced Electrical Managers to support some of the largest utility-scale solar and energy storage projects currently being built across the United States. This is a field leadership role focused on electrical construction execution, quality, commissioning readiness, and workforce development.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the electrical technical leader on utility-scale solar and energy storage projects.
• Support electrical construction execution from installation through commissioning and energization.
• Train, mentor, and develop electricians, foremen, field engineers, and electrical crews.
• Ensure electrical work is installed safely and in accordance with project quality standards.
• Identify installation issues and provide technical guidance and corrective actions.
• Support commissioning, startup, testing, and energization activities.
• Aid in troubleshooting electrical systems and field execution challenges.
• Collaborate with project management, construction leadership, subcontractors, and commissioning teams.
• Support electrical quality assurance and construction readiness initiatives.
• Travel between projects as needed to support field operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical construction experience.
• Strong medium-voltage and/or high-voltage electrical experience.
• Experience leading electrical crews, electricians, or field teams.
• Strong understanding of electrical installation methods, safety practices, and construction execution.
• Ability and willingness to travel 100% of the time.
• Journeyman Electrician license (preferred).
• Utility-scale solar experience (preferred).
• Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) experience (preferred).
• Utility, industrial, power generation, mining, oil & gas, or heavy industrial electrical experience (preferred).
• E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) experience (preferred).
• Commissioning, startup, testing, and energization experience (preferred).
• Experience working with substations, collector systems, and utility interconnections (preferred).
